National Youth Sports Centre Tenero CST
A branch of the Federal Office of Sport FOSPO, the National Youth Sports Centre Tenero CST encourages young people to engage in sports activities. The CST offers optimal facilities for many different sports disciplines and are perfectly suited for sports camps and training courses for a wide range of users, from young school pupils to top-level athletes.

What we offer
Sports facilities
The CST offers 160 different sports facilities, including two triple-section sports halls, a sports hall for artistic gymnastics, full-size football patches, a swimming pool and a diving pool, open-air and indoor athletics complex, weight-lifting rooms and a water sports centre.
Sports activities
Over 60 different sports activities can be practised at the CST. The range includes indoor and outdoor disciplines, individual and team sports, sand activities and water disciplines.
Elite sports
The CST offers outstanding facilities and services for elite sports. The offering is intended for national and regional sports federations as well as for teams and individual athletes.
Meals
The CST offers a 400-seat cafeteria. Groups staying at the camp have access to kitchens and dining areas which they can use to cook their own meals.
Accommodation
CST offers its guests all the facilities and services they need for a successful stay.
The Andermatt centre
The Federal Office of Sport (FOSPO) uses the Andermatt facilities for its snowsports training courses. These facilities are also suitable for training stays in numerous sports disciplines throughout the year.

Tutti i Talenti a Tenero (3T)
Twice a year, over 500 talented Swiss athletes undergo a week of intensive training at the CST. This is a unique opportunity for promising young athletes to make sporting and personal progress.
Sportissima
This is the day held in September to promote physical activity. Sports clubs in the region offer young people and adults the chance to try out new sports disciplines.
Sportech
Science and Technology Days present innovations in the field of sports research. Sportech is intended pupils attending lower- and upper-secondary schools, both academic and vocational.

Our employees
The CST has 124 employees. Each year it provides workplace training to 12 apprentices and 7 trainees in various fields.
